Secular Coalition for America Now Organizing in New York

The Secular Coalition for America, an advocacy organization than lobbies the U.S. Congress on issues of special concern to non-theists, has begun a program to organize state-level chapters.

Now in it's third phase, this program has made its way around to New York.

This effort will begin with a statewide kickoff conference call to organize efforts. The call will be held Tuesday July 17, 2012 at 1:00 PM ET, and all who believe in a strong separation between church and state are welcome to participate.
