Hemant Mehta Speaks at RPI - March 30th
On Tuesday, March 30, author, blogger, and self-described "friendly atheist" Hemant Mehta will give a presentation on the (true) story of how he "sold his soul on eBay" and on atheism in general. In addition to authoring the non-fiction book I Sold My Soul on eBay and blogging for The Friendly Atheist (http://friendlyatheist.com), Mehta currently chairs the Secular Student Alliance, a national nonprofit organization serving the needs of free-thinking students. Press coverage of his book has also appeared in The Wall Street Journal, the Chicago Sun-Times, and other national periodicals. The talk will be held in DCC 330 on the RPI campus at 7:30 PM.
This event is sponsored by the Secular Student Alliance @ RPI. For more information, please e-mail rpi.ssa@gmail.com, or visit Mehta's blog at http://friendlyatheist.com.
